A common challenge for small businesses is not knowing about the various no-cost or low-cost resources they can use to start or grow their business. Join our panel of experts including your local advisor, and representatives from the Small Business Administration and SCORE, to learn what is available during our Small Business Seminar: An Introduction to the Services Available to Connecticut's Small Businesses.
Created in 1953, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) continues to help small business owners and entrepreneurs pursue the American dream. The SBA is the only cabinet-level federal agency fully dedicated to small business and provides counseling, capital, and contracting expertise as the nation’s only go-to resource and voice for small businesses.
SCORE, the nation’s largest network of volunteer, expert business mentors, is dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals. Since 1964, we have provided education and mentorship to more than 11 million entrepreneurs.
The Connecticut Small Business Development Center (CT SBDC) provides no-cost business advising and training to small business owners and entrepreneurs to start, grow, and thrive in Connecticut. Our Business Advisors offer professional, confidential, and expert business advice combined with a unique set of powerful tools, and work alongside business owners to help them overcome challenges and reach their goals.
Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the Bethel Library meeting room, 189 Greenwood Avenue. 9:30am - 12:30pm. There is no charge for this workshop but you must pre-register.
