Starting a Business Workshop

READY? SET. GO! Starting a business of your own is exciting but we bet you have lots of questions. If you are thinking of starting a business, or have just started one, this workshop is a perfect fit. Topics covered will include the fundamentals of getting started, business operation basics, business plans, and how to use and understand financial reports.

Randy Altergott is a volunteer mentor with SCORE. Randy currently operates a personal financial education business, and has over 30 years of experience in various management roles in the electric utility industry.

Scott Hillis has extensive experience in supply chain management, inventory management and facilities management and a small business owner. Scott is a Certified SCORE Mentor and an enthusiastic advocate for small business owners here to help others avoid the mistakes that he made in his business career and to support their success.
