WEBINAR Food for Thought – Wheelchair Seating and Positioning: It's complex but basic with CEU

Having an understanding of the importance of proper posture control for wheelchair users is critical for all senior healthcare professionals and caregivers.  This course will describe the four goals of wheelchair seating to achieve optimal posture and function. Participants will have an understanding of the common postural deviations and destructive tendencies, be informed of the implications of poor seating posture, understand the difference between a fixed and flexible postural deformity, and have an understanding of factors that contribute to pressure injuries.
