Did you know that the the federal government's goal is to award at least three percent of all federal contracting dollars to HUBZone-certified small businesses each year? Did you know that OEMs with federal contracts are constantly in search of suppliers that are HUBZone-certified?
The Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone) program was established by the SBA to help small businesses in both urban and rural communities. Businesses in this program get preferential treatment from contracting officers including 10% price evaluation preference in contract competition. If you match the criteria, then a HUBZone certification could be the best business investment you will ever make. Join this workshop with Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin at El Camino College to learn more about the qualifications and receive guidance in the application process.
