• Communicate updates to medical coding rules for 2020
• Describe what medical documentation facilitates
• Understand medical necessity and general principles of documentation
• Understand key components of Evaluation & Management Codes
• Review counseling and coordination of care coding
• Address new versus established patients/clients
• Share tips for coding Annual Wellness Visits and preventive services
• Outline the importance of specificity related to ICD-10 reporting and documenting.
