Eric will define SEO and explain its benefits. He will also provide five key things that you need to know and discuss whether you can do it yourself and explain outsourcing options. Eric will address:

Definition of search engine optimization; Basic understanding of how search engines work; How people interact with search engines and why that matters; Why SEO is necessary;  How it helps your business

Main differences between on-page and off-page SEO; On-page SEO-friendly design (meta tags, etc.); Off-page SEO best practices (backlinks, citations, social profiles, content creation); Top tools to use to help manage your SEO; How to monitor and track your results

Should You DIY or Outsource;  What is your bandwidth;  What is the scope and how will it get done; c. How much time, what tools will you need, and what are the added expenses;  How to find and interview SEO experts
