How to Create a Thriving Social Media Strategy in Today's World

*This will be a live online workshop via Zoom*

This workshop is aimed to educate and empower small business owners in two hours. We will address why businesses need to be social and how to do so with purpose and intent that increases brand awareness and sales. This webinar will be interactive as time permits.

This webinar will benefit: 

  • Small business owners who want to increase their knowledge of the social media landscape after Shelter-in-Place.

  • Business owners who are not ready to consider hiring marketing or social media experts.

  • Owners, new or existing, looking for social media techniques to manage themselves. 
The four main topics covered will be:
  • Mindset and Approach - Create a focused and powerful media plan. Learn to maximize social media efforts and minimize wasted time. 

  • Content - Learn how to create social content that will boost sharing and engagement to improve your engagement. 

  • Visual Appeal - Learn to create attractive, shareable images using super easy and free software. 

  • Tips and Tricks - Easily learn time saving tips and tricks to incorporate into your social media strategy.

Catherine Peņa is a certified SCORE mentor and volunteer. Ms. Peņa brings 20 years of online experience having worked on websites for USA Weightlifting, 2002 Salt Lake Olympic Games and Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. Catherine has also worked with several marketing agencies where she focused on branding, websites and social media. She has a BS from Texas A&M University and an MBA from University of Phoenix.

Cancellation Policy: 

If you need to cancel you must notify us via email 7 days prior to the workshop date. A confirmation of your cancellation will be sent once it is received. Calling the SCORE Fort Worth office is not acceptable for a cancellation notice. All no-shows or cancellations after 7 days will lose their paid workshop fees. 

All workshop fees must be paid in advance prior to workshop date. For security purposes we will not be able to accept payment for workshops at the door unless workshop is being held at James E. Guinn complex in Fort Worth, TX. 

CANCELLATION NOTICES MUST BE IN WRITING AND EMAILED to: Jenny Day at scorefw@gmail.com. Any other means of cancellation will not be accepted.
