No Child Left Inside - 2020 Great Backyard Pursuit

Join us for the 15th annual Great Park Pursuit Family Adventure-now being referred to as the Great Backyard Pursuit due to COVID-19 and the need to social distance and not gather in groups in our CT State Parks and Forests for programs and, more importantly, to keep our park and forest visitors and DEEP staff safe.  The Great Backyard Pursuit is 7 weekends of outdoor adventures where families get outside in their yard, backyard, local park, trail or forest, or local open space areas and participate in fun activities and photo journal their experience.  Once registered, families who complete 4 weeks of the 7 weeks of the program, participate in those activities and submit their photos as required, will be eligible to win a unique prize.  

(Please note that teams must consist of at least one adult 18 years or older and one child under 18)

Each team member age 18 and over, and the parent(s) legal guardian(s) on behalf of minor(s) under the age of 18, must read the official rules and accept all terms and conditions.
