Business Structure and Contracts

Any successful business owner knows that the pathway to success is in the details. In the world of business law, those details come in the form of contracts for goods and services, operating agreements, partnership agreements, buy/sell agreements, assignments and leases. These legal issues can be very confusing and burdensome to a new business owner. The consequences to ignoring these issues can be fatal to your business. But with the right knowledge, these legal hurdles can become valuable tools to your success.

If you are a new or prospective business owner, you have several issues to consider before incorporating your business:

· Which business entity should I choose?

· What are the tax considerations?

· How do I protect my assets in the event of a lawsuit?

· How do I protect myself when entering into contracts like leases, purchase agreements or partnership agreements?

This workshop will arm you with the knowledge you need to operate a legally sound business.

Costs: $15 payable at time of registration.
