Workshop with Sue Miller
This is not a course on the "good-feeling" side of gemstones!!!!
We are excited to present Sue Miller, author, ghost hunter, and Gem Expert, from the Plaide Palette In Cherry Valley. Sue leads us in a 'different' class on stones. A class to discover the darker side of gems. Which ones to watch out for and what dangers and benefits might they hold?
"This is the bad and the ugly side on some pretty potentially deadly rocks and gemstones and the healing and meditative powers they possess. I know you've heard of many of them but others I'm sure you haven't heard of.
Lots of samples to show you and we will discuss the history of such wonderful rock/mineral components as arsenic, mercury and asbestos to name a few. Lots of history and folklore wrapped up into the humorous and fascinating world of rocks and gemstones."
About Your Instructor:
Bio: Susan Murray-Miller is an author and ghost communicator living in Cherry Valley NY. Sue migrated to Cherry Valley over 28 years ago and has been its resident "Ghost Meister" ever since. Author of the widely popular books "Time Between, the Hauntings of Cherry Valley NY" and her newest ghost/murder/mystery novel "Chasing Sarah", she has entertaining insights and answers questions with knowledge and experience.
