Bill PearceSCORE Mentor, is an accomplished corporate business executive and small business owner with a proven track record of results, innovation, and developing leaders in the areas of sales & marketing, business development, and strategy.  With 25 years of experience in sales growth, price management, and new project wins, Bill specialized in recruiting, reorganizing, and repositioning local sales teams for improved outcomes.  He is always looking to give back by passing on ‘lessons learned’ to small business owners and emerging business executives.

Maria Smith, SCORE Workshop Presenter, is a retired global business leader and experienced change agent known for building and inspiring teams to start up, reposition and grow businesses. She focused on revitalization of products and markets in public and private companies, in business-to-consumer and business-to-business sectors. Maria has a broad background in marketing and business strategy across various industries including sanitary products, food, home décor, residential windows, power generation and oil and gas.

Leslie Swope, SCORE Mentor, has over 30 years of experience in marketing, sales and finance in the pharmaceutical, consulting, cable and chemical industries.  She has led cross functional teams as well as worked collaboratively with alliances to ensure alignment.  She brings strong leadership skills in product management, brand communications and market research with focus on innovation and results.  She has also served as an adjunct instructor in the Communications Program at the Wharton School.
