Want to Start an E-Commerce Business? - 08/20/2020 - $30 - C0206

Many people want to start an online store but don’t even know where to start. They watch videos and listen to online gurus telling them they can do it, just to discover it’s a lot more complex than they all say.

We’ll make it simple for you. Because it actually is easy once you know the process.

During this 2 hour workshop, you’ll learn how to start an online store in less than a week, how to get your first sales and how to scale them to reach $10,000 - or more - in 4 weeks.

Reality check on e-commerce
Lies and reality of what running an e-commerce looks like.
What can you expect in terms of time, investment and revenue?

Finding the right product

ALWAYS have a customer oriented approach. Go for the low hanging fruits by choosing the product that is easy to sell, cheap to buy with a big enough gross profit margin

Creating a website
DO NOT SPEND TIME on technology. This should be wrapped up in half a day. We’ll go over shopify and woocommerce.

Discovering the audience
You don’t know before you know. Working on assumptions is the key to failure. Here’s how you discover who the audience is at the cheapest possible price

Running ads
That’s where your Benjamins come in action. Running ads is what will drive traffic and sales to your website

Getting the first sale
Now you get a first customer, you’re officially in business. Let’s take care of them and make things perfect.

Scaling up
How do you go from the first few sales to consistent and sufficient revenue.

Managing cash flow
Profit and loss is not nearly as important as managing your cash flow as you grow. Most online stores that get sales eventually fail because of not knowing about cash flow management.

The path to money making
You got your first sales, you managed to scale up operations, let’s have a quick overview of how you go from there to owning an actual online business with staff and warehouse etc…

What you’ll get out of this workshop?

You’ll have an overview of how to start your first online business and basically an orientation to all the things you need to work on in order to get ready.

You will have a list of tasks to accomplish or delegate in order to successfully launch your business.

What are the prerequisites?

  • You need to be willing to spend a lot of hours learning new things or be ready to invest money in people with skills
  • You need to not expect passive income… Just because it doesn’t exist.
  • You need to be tenacious

About your presenter:  Mike Beck

Mike Beck is a serial entrepreneur imported from France. He owns businesses in America, in Europe, in India and in China. But Mike isn’t the typical entrepreneur. He started his career as a teacher in France where he taught for 8 years before becoming the youngest manager ever in that country…. A job he quit after only 2 years because it was beyond boring. Not fit for business, Mike failed his way to success. He lost all he had until he met Lu Tan - his business partner who eventually became his wife - and started a series of successful ventures. The two of them hit the first million euros after just 2 years and moved to the US in 2016. Mike and Lu started their first online store in 2017 as a side hustle. After some time, they started giving more attention to it to discover the endless possibilities and the unlimited revenue potential as opposed to what they can achieve with traditional businesses.Mike started  mentoring with Score in February 2020. Mike is from the east of France, so he tells it like it is.
