Frank Cilona has served as President/CEO of the Better Business Bureau serving Canton Region/Greater W. Virginia since February 1, 2011. Cilona, the former BBB Board Chairman, served on the Board of Directors for over six years. He also served as the Director of Sales & Marketing at the Courtyard by Marriott Canton. Cilona brings a wealth of community involvement and sales background to the position.
An avid sports fan, Cilona has spent over 28 years in broadcasting. He has broadcasted high school football, basketball and baseball games on TV and Radio in the Stark County area on WHBC, Big Time Sports and Q92 Radio. His past credits include covering Ohio State football, Cleveland Browns, Indians and Cavaliers, as well as the Firestone golf tournaments for ESPN radio. He has been a 33 year volunteer for the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a driver for the annual induction ceremonies. He currently is an assistant baseball coach for his alma mater, Sandy Valley as well as a current player himself in the Ohio Men’s Senior Baseball League.
A lifelong resident of Stark County, Cilona grew up in Waynesburg and attended Sandy Valley High School and The Ohio State University. He is 1987 graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing. Cilona and his wife, Kristine, have two grown children, Ryan and Ashley. They make their home in Massillon.
