Business Owners Roundtables - 09/17/2020 - C1000

Peer-to-peer trusted circle of small business leaders facilitated by experienced SCORE business mentors

Now in our 8th year

Why join a Roundtable?

  • The peer-to-peer model works -- benefit from different perspectives from other business owners with similar challenges, who will challenge you, cheer you on, and help you achieve success
  • Join a community of like-minded business owners who build trust and mutual support, and expand your network with more than 75 previous SCORE Roundtable members through our alumni group
  • Benefit from expertise only another business owner will have to help you successfully pivot, particularly important as we all struggle to recover from Covid-19 effects
  • In a supportive and confidential setting, share your expertise and experience, get help establishing goals for growth, and be accountable to your peers
  • Facilitators are SCORE business mentors with extensive experience as business owners or key executives in a variety of businesses and industries

Who should join a Roundtable?

  • Solopreneurs  and Entrepreneurs with an established business (any industry, product or professional practice) and minimum annual revenue of $75,000
  • All applicants will be vetted and will be placed at a roundtable with business owners of similar size and stage of growth

When

Each Roundtable will meet for seven Thursday morning sessions, once every three weeks starting in September (start dates scheduled for 9/17, 9/24 and 10/1).  The Roundtables are currently virtual but in-person meetings in Mid-town Manhattan will return as soon as safely possible.

Fees

For 7 sessions $399; returning and previous participants $300.

Next step

Join a trusted circle of savvy business owners, and in a safe, non-judgmental environment, help each other to improve your businesses. Each roundtable is limited in size to 12 members; we will form multiple groups but each roundtable will have members whose businesses are at a similar size and growth stage.

Contact Jerry Weinstein (jerry.weinstein@scorevolunteer.org) or
Steve Kessler (Stephen.kessler@scorevolunteer.org) and let us determine which group best fits you and your business.

Here’s what participants say:

“An excellent peer outlet to discuss and determine best actions relating to scaling the profit, revenue, processes, and resources associated with my apparel decoration and manufacturing business.  A wonderful way to learn from and help other business owners.” Chris Berena, Scrappy Apparel Company

"Having a network of trusted peers through SCORE Roundtables has been a game-changer. I love getting new ideas and perspectives from business owners who have been through many of the same challenges I'm facing as an entrepreneur." Daniel Fenjves, Upperline Code (Computer Science Education)

“Running a small business can be a lonely journey. The SCORE business roundtable with its group of like-minded business owners has been an incredible resource. The shared insight, honest feedback and accountability to my stated goals has transformed my business.” Becky Rogoff, Strategic Advisor-Accounting Solutions LLC

“SCORE's Business Owners Roundtable provides a collaborative, confidential environment to share both successes and struggles with other business owners in a non-judgmental manner.  It's an asset that only adds value for any entrepreneur, start-up or small business owner as they learn from one another what works and what’s been tried by others across a multitude of business types in order to help steer one's own business for growth and success.”  Russell Grant, Live Shot Media
