Mark Malis

Mark Malis is a retired entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience in the insurance software space. As a senior engineering student at The University of Florida, Mark created a senior-class project to run his father’s insurance agencies. That project became QQSolutions, where Mark served as CEO and co-founder for 28 years, QQSolutions became one of the top solution providers in the Independent Insurance agency market and grew to 75 employees and 25,000 users. In 2015, Mark sold the company to his largest competitor, Vertafore, a leading private equity-funded insurance software company. Now in retirement, Mark volunteers on the Board of Trustees at Pine Crest School, is a certified Business Mentor for SCORE, a long-time sponsor of classrooms at the Florence Fuller Child Development Center, and helps out at Boca Helping Hands, a food bank for those who financially can't make ends meet. In 2017 Mark started diving into AI. Now as an Artificial Intelligence Enthusiast, he continues to increase his knowledge in this exciting technology.
