Are you a woman who wants to
take the fear out of finance? 

This series includes four
two-hour sessions on ZOOM
with a focus on Investments &
Long-Term Savings.
 

During this small group, interactive webinar,
an experienced financial educator will take you through the ways to manage your investments more effectively, make the right financial decisions and plan for the future. Small breakout rooms ensure active participation and online discussion.

At the end of this series of webinars, you will have the resources and knowledge to:

  • Learn how to make the best investment choices for an employer-sponsored 401k plan
  • Recognize the importance of an employer match and a vesting schedule for a 401K plan
  • Differentiate between a Roth IRA and Traditional IRA and know which one is most appropriate for you
  • Select the diversified investment mix to best meet your goals 
  • Learn the pros and cons of selecting individual stocks or bonds as opposed to mutual funds
  • Become familiar with free tool to help you research mutual funds and Electronic Traded Funds (ETF)
  • Understand what questions to ask before making any investment 
  • Learn where to find fund track records including risks, expense ratios & returns
  • Understand different ways the brokerage community makes money off your investments 
  • Understand the benefits of social security and how to determine when to start drawing benefits

We ask that you:

  • Attend every class session within the series. This represents a commitment to yourself and to others in the group. 
  • Work in front of a full screen computer, allowing screen sharing, in a quiet area for concentration.
  • Agree to complete pre-work before each class, which takes approximately 2 hours a week to give yourself time to complete.
  • Use a calculator or application if needed to perform math functions.
  • Complete pre-work before each session to optimize your learning experience by enabling you to discuss concepts and real-life examples with your peers and your instructor.

Diane Drey

Diane was formerly CEO of a New York Metro bottled-water manufacturing and distributing company. Her expertise is in financial planning and marketing. She holds an MBA in finance and has over 30-years’ experience running her own firm. 

She light-heartedly calls herself the "Money Lady" and focuses on business owners achieving profitability.
