Every new business owner needs a basic understanding of the key financial statements that will help them track business performance. Learn what financial statements every business needs and what is needed to create them.

This workshop will teach participants how financial transactions are captured and then translated into financial statements. We will cover the purpose and uses of the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flow. Participants will also learn how to use these statements to understand how their business is performing and make better business decisions.

Instructor Bio:

Cynthia Carter-Wedgewood has had an extensive career in accounting, auditing, and corporate finance. She passed the CPA exam in the PA. She currently performs taxes and volunteers with several non-profits, serving as Treasurer for one and Financial Chairperson for another. She is a native of Philadelphia and currently resides in Wilmington.
