Tracey will focus on ways that small business owners and their staff can share intercultural spaces with their clients and customers (and each other) in these trying times. So many of us come from different backgrounds and cultures and it can be difficult to see another person or cultures perspective. Small business owners are in unique positions to attract and retain clients from diverse groups and cultures. In order to do this there is a need to have an understanding of how to Build Bridges of Trust that are authentic, sustainable, and long lasting. This is exactly what this workshop addresses.You will walk away with tools and ways to Build Bridges of Trust with your diverse client/customers. Join us to:
* RECOGNIZE the spaces and/or cultures we inhabit individually as well as the various spaces or cultures our clients/customers may inhabit.
*ANALYZE the oppressor within and ways this might be blocking us from building trust with one another and with our clients/customers. (We will be using comedic tools to keep this light.)
* IDENTIFY 3 ways our perspectives may be blocking us from building trust with each other and with our clients.
* PROPOSE 1 way to re-think or re-construct the spaces we inhabit individually in order to build trust with each other and with our clients.

Tracey has been a small business owner for over twenty-five years. She has been an owner of the following businesses: Professional Recruiting Firm, Real Estate Agency, American Sign Language Interpreting Agency, and is currently operating a business that presents webinars and workshops on various topics.

Having grown up within a community of people who have experienced marginalization, the Deaf community, Tracey has, in adulthood, committed herself to being an ally alongside diverse communities who continue to be marginalized and oppressed. Drawing on this background of personal biography and cultural sensitivity, Tracey is deeply committed to eliminating barriers to the intrinsic learning experience and to fostering inclusive environments. Her teaching methods of inclusion, collaboration, and emergence, along with achievable outcomes, will help business owners/individuals build pathways to greater awareness, reach personal and professional goals, and have a transformative educational experience.
