Presented by: Sue Phalen, SCORE Volunteer & Mentor
Sue specializes in helping small business owners in marketing and sales. Her
goal is to help them define their target audience, understand their needs,
create a prospect list and develop a sales message that resonates. She
focuses on the skills and processes needed to achieve success in sales.
She also works with small businesses to build disaster resilience: to prepare
for disasters when they strike and to create continuity of operations plans to
survive and thrive in the aftermath.
Her work experience includes marketing in the healthcare and education industries. As a private consultant, she worked with the Rice Global Engineering and Construction Forum as well as with small businesses. She worked in sales for Control Data Corporation where she won their highest recognition for sales performance. Sue earned her BS Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business. Sue has been volunteering as a SCORE mentor for 15 years.
