Sexual Harassment Prevention Training: Supervisors C0503 

 SB 1343 requires all supervisors with 5 or more employees (full-tme, part-time, or temporary) to have two hours of sexual harassment prevention training.

Participants will understand the definition of unlawful sexual harassment under the FEHA and Title VII of the Civil Rihjts Act of 1964 and what types of conduct that constitutes harassment. Participants will understand the complaint process and it's limited confidenttially. This workshiop will also discuss victim resources, and the obligation of the employer to conduct an investigation for all harassment complaints.

Instructor Dr. Colleen Meyer

Dr. Colleen Meyer has been in business for over 30 years and has won many achievement awards for herself and the various businesses she has worked with. Dr. Meyer’s specialty is change management, operational excellence, employee training and development, leadership training and development, and goal setting and getting results. Dr. Meyer has a doctorate degree in Organizational Change and Leadership from USC and an MBA from the University of La Verne. Dr. Meyer is a professor and the Dean of Business Programs at the California University of Business and Technology. Dr. Meyer is the President of Meyer and Mintz Consulting, a consulting company for small and medium businesses. Meyer and Mintz Consulting helps business grow strategically through innovation, education, and marketing.
