Webinar for Small Businesses with the Utilities Consumer Advocate

Alberta has a unique utilities industry, where consumers have the choice of where to buy their electricity and natural gas. These choices give Albertans lots of options, but can also be a bit confusing. Fortunately, the Utilities Consumer Advocate (UCA) can help make sense of it all.

“Utilities for Small Businesses in Alberta” will:

  • Explain how the Alberta energy market works
  • Break down the wide range of choice available to consumers to heat and power their small businesses, farms and residences.
  • Explain the line items on electricity and natural gas bills, including charges unique to businesses
  • Discuss the consumer protection resources available to Albertan consumers for resolving disputes with utility providers
  • Share small business utilities resources

This is a FREE webinar presented by the Utilities Consumer Advocate brought to you by the Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce.

The meeting will be held via WebEx; please register with the button below to receive the webinar link.

Established in 2003, the UCA advocates consumer interests in utility regulations, mediates disputes between consumers and utility companies as well as educating Albertans on how it all works through outreach events like this informative presentation.
