Borrowers, do you want to know if you are making smart financing decisions? Your local SBA Resource Partners can help you.  The SBA does not lend you money, they reduce the risk of commercial lenders to provide you financing.  The webinar will present the SBA guidelines set for all its loan programs offered by banks, community development financial Institutions, and SBA micro-lenders. It will also tell us how borrowers can lower their risk to access capital and get help for an SBA Guaranteed Loan.

Presenter: Mark Winchester, Deputy District Director, SBA

Mark Winchester is the Deputy District Director for the Houston District Office of the U.S Small Business Administration and has been with the agency for 10 years. Before joining SBA, Winchester worked for UT Rio Grande Valley, the Women’s Business Center, Small Business Development Center, and the Veteran’s Business Outreach Center.  As Deputy District Director, Winchester’s duties include supervising staff, and overseeing the delivery of SBA programs and services in 32 counties. Last year, this included over $1Billion in loan guarantees and surety for small businesses in the district.  Mr. Winchester holds an AS, BBS, and MBA from the University of Connecticut at Storrs. His expertise is in Finance and Information Technology.
