SCORE Chapters of SE MA, Cape Cod and the Islands, RI and, MassMutual, in collaboration with the  Cranberry Growers Association, USDA, Farm Service Agency, Cape Cod Cranberry, Cape Cod Fisherman's Alliance, and Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce will offer a workshop for farm and agricultural businesses entitled, Legacy Planning for Farmers.  The SCORE/MA Mutual workshop helps business owners plan for the future of their business.  

This workshop offers attendees a variety of perspectives on preparing the next stages of their business lives.  The pros and cons of each scenario are discussed, helping farm business owners acquire the information they need to plan for the future that best suits their situation.

The workshop will offer tools for:

• Exit strategies
• Retirement planning option 
• Leaving a legacy
