Using Children's Literature to Teach Economics

4th - 6th Grade

This session will provide educators with an opportunity to discuss how children’s literature can be integrated with and used to teach economic concepts to elementary students.  Using all of the new state standards, educators will take part in lesson activities that will engage their students while incorporating cross curricular content knowledge.   Resources and strategies for classroom use will be provided.

Grades 4th - 6th

Participants will be eligible for 1 hour of professional development credit.
