Craft Beer Fest Day Sail & Dinner Social

Kemah celebrates the annual Spring Craft Beer Fest this April and we think it's a great reason to celebrate with a sail and dinner social.  The warm spring weather makes it a perfect time to hone your sailing skills, build your sailing resume, or relax with friends on the water.  It's a great opportunity for sailors of all skill levels to get involved. Get out on the water with an afternoon sail on Galveston Bay, then join us for some dinner and beer on the patio.

South Coast Sailing Club will provide the main entrée for dinner.  Please bring your favorite appetizer, side dish, or dessert to share.  All homemade creations will be entered into the “Culinary Delight Contest”.  The group will voteon the tastiest recipe and the winner will be awarded a prize. Don’t forget to bring your favorite beer or other beverage.

Up for more fun? As you wrap up the SCSA social, your timing will be perfect for joining the Kemah Boardwalk Craft Beer Fest with 24 breweries and over 72 craft beers available to sample, plus live music from 6-10 pm by The Fuse.  Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.kemahbeerfest.com.

After sampling all the craft beer at the Fest or hanging with your SCSA friends, make a night of it by adding a berth to your Craft Beer Club Sail event and stay the night on one of our vessels for just $75 per person.  Bring your own linens or reserve ours for $25 per person.

Schedule:

12:30 pm - Check in at South Coast Sailing Adventures

1:00 pm - Depart the dock after a short skipper & crew briefing

 5:00 pm - Return to the dock, clean and secure the boat; make your way to the patio for dinner

6:30 pm - Attend the Kemh Boardwalk Craft Beer Fest and/or stay the night on one of our boats
