Cash Flow Management for Small Businesses 

A Cash Flow Statement helps you to make better, more timely business decisions.

This presentation will provide a brief overview of financial reports with the main focus on the cash flow statement.You will learn why it is the most important report for small businesses, what it will tell you, how to improve your cash flow and how to anticipate and prepare for future short falls.

We will work with a sample Cash Flow Statement and play what ifs. This exercise will show you how you could have better prepared for the likes of a COVID-19 event, a cyclical business or a startup.
Presenters:  

JIM DANNHAUSER is a certified SCORE mentor.  Jim began his business career as a commercial attorney, then moved into investment banking, serving in an advisory capacity to family owned businesses and investor groups, and eventually became the CFO of a small company that grew over time and eventually became a public company.  After leaving that company, Jim served as a senior advisor to a large private equity company and as an advisor to a number of small businesses.  Jim is now retired and continues to assist small businesses through his association with SCORE.
