J. Vincenzo Gatto, SCORE NYC Certified Mentor, has 40 years of experience in the fashion industry and is currently Professor of Business and Marketing at New York City’s Fashion Institute of Technology. He is co-owner of incubator1, a marketing/branding/business-building consulting company. His experience covers the apparel industry in many forms, both retail and wholesale, and includes branding, repositioning a brand, marketing and merchandising and conceptualizing your brand...getting down to its DNA.

His clients include apparel retailers and wholesalers. He has worked in a variety of industries, including home decor and food service businesses, major department and specialty stores—full price and off price. All this expertise, combined with having had his own retail store and an ecommerce site, gives him the unique perspective he brings to all his mentoring sessions.
