Doug retired from dual careers in education and construction. He was a faculty member and administrator at Alfred State College, Western New York for 38 years. He taught courses in basic and advanced estimating, construction management, construction project management (CPM), construction specifications, and construction methods and materials. His parallel career was 25 years as a contractor/builder of single family homes, light commercial and remodeling. He is proficient at concrete work, masonry, carpentry, and electrical.
