ZOOM IN: Increasing Home Office Productivity

Overview

Burning the midnight oil while working from home is common, but the recent pandemic has drastically increased the number of hours and time spent in your home office.  Join SCORE member, Action Potential Physical Therapy Co-Owner & Physical Therapist, Kathy Dixon, DPT, as you learn applicable solutions on how to prevent pain and injury and discuss barriers you may face while working from home.  This workshop will review home desk setup, discuss options for improved focus and injury prevention, and educate you on how to implement exercise in the home.

About the Presenter

Kathy Dixon is a physical therapist and co-owner of Action Potential Physical Therapy in Glen Mills and Kennett Square.  Kathy is energetic and enthusiastic with the determination to always deliver a superior client experience.  Kathy began her therapy career at Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital after graduating from Thomas Jefferson University with her Masters Degree, and subsequently returning to her alma mater completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  She quickly developed a niche for treating clients with neurological and amputee conditions.  Kathy places a strong value on continued education and has attended many educational courses to further her knowledge and specialize her approach in the delivery of patient care.  She completed the APTA Vestibular Competency at Emory University in 2014.

In addition to her clinical skills, Kathy is an adjunct faculty member at Neumann University, member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and a SCORE, Chester and Delaware Counties volunteer presenting for the speakers bureau.
