Empezando un negocio es un proyecto grande y emocionante - es importante que empresarios tengan un entendimiento de las leyes que afectan a los negocios para poder hacer las mejores decisiones para sus negocios. Este taller está diseñado para ser interactivo y permitirle hacer preguntas para comprender mejor estos y otros conceptos legales:

¿Cuáles son los tipos de entidades legales y cuando debo pensar en formar una entidad legal para mi negocio?

¿Dónde se registra las entidades legales?

¿Como puedo proteger mi negocio y manejar la liabilidad de mi negocio?

¿Cuales son los detalles mas importantes de saber sobre los contratos de negocio?

Andrea también ofrecerá consejos invaluables para tratar con un abogado.

Andrea es una abogada en Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid y se especializa en trabajar con microempresas y entidades sin fines de lucro. Ella obtuvo su B.A. cum laude de la Universidad de Harvard en 1998 y su J.D. de la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Texas en 2003. Andrea ha viajado por el área de servicio de Texas Legal Grande Aid, hablando sobre temas legales relevantes para empresarios y pequeñas empresas. También proporciona representación legal directa a microempresarios para asuntos transaccionales y maneja casos apropiados para referir para representación pro bono.

Cancellation Policy: 

If you need to cancel you must notify us via email 7 days prior to the workshop date. A confirmation of your cancellation will be sent once it is received. Calling the SCORE Fort Worth office is not acceptable for a cancellation notice. All no-shows or cancellations after 7 days will lose their paid workshop fees. 

All workshop fees must be paid in advance prior to workshop date. For security purposes we will not be able to accept payment for workshops at the door unless workshop is being held at James E. Guinn complex in Fort Worth, TX. 

CANCELLATION NOTICES MUST BE IN WRITING AND EMAILED TO: Jenny Day at ch.admin0120@scorevolunteer.org. Any other means of cancellation will not be accepted.
