Greg Shaia has served as the Riverside Division President for Richmond American Homes since joining the company in April 2018. Recently, Greg was promoted to Regional President overseeing the 4 Divisions in California. In this role, he is responsible for the performance and execution across all homebuilding operation disciplines and growing the business through land acquisition. Under Greg’s leadership, Richmond American Homes has become a top 5 builder in sales volume in Riverside County. Greg’s background is in Finance and Land Acquisition. He holds a CPA license in the State of California.
Prior to joining Richmond, Greg served as West Regional VP of Finance for CalAtlantic Homes from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, Greg spent 11 years at Pulte Homes, where he served in various Finance roles in multiple markets including a stint as Asset Management Committee Manager in Pulte’s Corporate office in Michigan. Through this tenure, Greg was exposed to the majority of the markets on the West Coast as well as Texas and Florida.
Greg currently serves as the President of the BIA Riverside Chapter and was honored to receive the Builder Member of the Year award in 2019.
As a fun side note, Greg’s leadership extends beyond the business arena as he coaches both of his sons in baseball and soccer. Greg was born and raised in Southern California where he attended Servite High School and then Chapman University, where he received his BS in Accounting. He loves the outdoors and traveling with his family.
