You will be provided with the steps from Incorporating to completing the application of Tax Exempt. You will also learn what is needed to develop your Board of Directors and understand their roles. This workshop will also provide you with tools and resources to help you manage your nonprofit. You will learn what it takes to get grants and learn how what is needed to manage those grants received. This workshop is full of information to help your nonprofit be successful.

Latonya Harrison
Latonya Harrison, is a Grants Manager for a Nonprofit Organization that works with families and children. She founded and is the Executive Director of Baring Scholars, Inc, which is an organization that mentors college students. She also provides consulting to organizations that has a passion to help others and would like to become a nonprofit. She has over 15 years of experience working for other Nonprofits. Latonya has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Shaw University of Raleigh, North Carolina. As she began her career in the nonprofit sector, Harrison yearned to know and learn more about non-profits, which lead to her obtaining a Master’s in Nonprofit Management from Capella University of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Latonya’s passion has always been to help others achieve their goals.
