The Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA)  is excited to announce that we are taking applications from agencies who would like to be a part of a train the trainer program regarding Trauma Informed Care, led by Dr. Harvey.  If you are interested, please click below. Applicants will be considered based the best qualified applicants and agency's need, as the training is limited to 20 participants. Below are the questions on the form.

  1.  Does the employee you have identified to become a trainer have any training experience?

  2. Has this employee attended the 4 hour initial training?

  3.  Within the past 2 years has your agency experienced any of the following:

    1. Losses/death due to Covid-19 - either staff or person(s)served

    2. Losses/death due to other health or environmental situations with either staff or person(s)served. 

    3. Has there been an increase in incidents of aggression, abuse or other traumatic events with either staff or person(s)served?

    4. Number of participants have a known trauma history?

    5. How long has the person you have identified to be a Trauma Informed Trainer been with your agency or within the field of developmental disabilities.
