Support Broker Initial Certification Training

This is an online Orientation.

Initial Support Broker Training and certification is required before a Support Broker can provide services. Certification is valid for 2 years. 

It is expected that all attendees will actively participate and comply with the expectations of the class, by attending the 30 minute orientation, completing the moduals, and completing the quizzes. Trainees will be required to demonstrate core competency by passing a final exam.

Because the orientation is the jumping off point to the success of this program, participants must register, check emails for links and log in on time.  Join links will be sent to participants in email will come from Go to Training "Organizer".  

After you attend the Initial Support Broker orientation you will have one week to review all of the self-guided modules, take the quizes and take the final exam.  After attending the orientation, a certificate will be automatically generated for your records, and links to the module materials will be shared. After passing the exam, a certificate will be emailed to you in about 2-3 weeks.  If you have questions about the training or if you require any special accommodations, please email natoya.mitchell@maryland.gov.
