5th Grade Pentathlon with Katie Moran (In Person)
The 5th grade child has reached a kind of developmental equilibrium often called the “golden age” of childhood. The 5th grade teacher strives to create space for a harmonious encounter between the students’ inner and outer worlds. Join us in this mutual exploration and actively creative endeavor!
During our afternoons we will have the opportunity to learn the disciplines of the Pentathlon; running, jumping, discus, javelin, and ring wrestling. Participants will be given the opportunity to experience these movements for themselves. Please come dressed to move in comfortable clothes and tennis shoes. Please bring water and sun protection.
