• Orientation/ Is Owning a Business Good for You (Monday 06/21/2021) - Explaining the program requirements and exploring business ownership.
• Banking Services and Credit Reporting (Wednesday 06/23/2021) - Discover which small banking services are best for your business.
• Organizational Types (Monday 06/28/2021) - Understand and select the organizational type of business that most accurately describes your business.
• Time Management (Wednesday 06/30/2021) - Learn how time management can vastly benefit the efficiency of your business.
• Financial Management and Record Keeping (Wednesday 07/07/2021) - Explore how financial management practices can help keep your business running smoothly.
• Planning a Healthy Business (Monday 07/12/2021) - Discover the importance of planning as an essential competency of business ownership. This process includes business planning and developing a day-to-day action plan for operating your business.
• Risk Management  & Cash Flow (Wednesday 07/14/2021) - Understand common risks associated with small businesses and how to develop an effective risk management plan.
• Insurance (Monday 07/19/2021) - Help protect your business through an overview of, and the necessity for, the types of insurance for small businesses.
• Tax Planning (Wednesday 07/21/2021) - Explore how taxes affect your small business, both positively and negatively.
• Loan Agreement Execution (Monday 07/26/2021) - Discuss the $5,000 loan agreement process.

The ASB offers small business owners this comprehensive training program, Liberty Bank is offering a $5,000 line of credit to qualifying small business owners who complete the program! The ASB is all part of Liberty Bank’s effort to support economic growth in the Connecticut communities we serve.  This program is being done in conjunction with our strategic partner SCORE Greater Hartford.

Requirements for the $5,000:

• Must attend all 10 ASB Workshops.
• Must have a credit score of 600 or higher
• Must see a SCORE mentor for 1-hour once for month for 12-months.
• Plus, other details that will be discussed during the workshop.
