Teaching Beyond Bars 

This interactive workshop supports early educators in addressing sensitive and uncomfortable topics for children who may have an absent parent due to incarceration, with confidence.  Teachers will be provided information regarding different factors surrounding incarceration and how the child is affected. It will also help teachers define their role in helping the child and family cope and how to communicate with empathy.
