At this workshop you will learn and discuss:

• How to craft and design a focused and forceful talk—utilizing anticipation.
• Using storytelling to increase the impact of your presentation.
• Aligning your goals with those of the audience.
• Developing your own personal style to reduce presentation anxiety.
• Presentation delivery tips and tools.
• How to speak effectively when there is no live audience.
• Using post-presentation evaluation to improve your delivery for your next talk.

About The Course Instructor:

Michael Marx mentors SCORE clients on the understanding of consumers, consumer segments, effective marketing and communication approaches under the business area of financial services and consumer trends.

 Michael’s 44-year work career focused on understanding consumer attitudes and behaviors to allow for more effective marketing targeting and business decision making.

 Michael has been a frequent speaker at industry events and conferences as well as a lecturer at payments education programs. As a result of his extensive experience in presenting, Michael developed a communications skills workshop for Visa employees which he gave numerous times.

Michael holds a BA in Politics from University of California at Santa Cruz and an MA in Communications from University of Pennsylvania.
