The Susquehanna river has sustained life on our lands long before humans started using her. As times change and perspectives widen, we now have opportunity to do better.
Join us on this collaborative, co-creative journey to make amends for past wrongs, to recreate and redefine how humans work with water and with the Susquehanna, and to do so in ways that nature can relate to.
We invite kayakers who resonate with Earthkeeping and nature stewardship to join us for this special opportunity on Goodyear Lake to enter a prayerful space and do something to make a difference!
Let us open our hearts and give thanks, connecting with other high powers and others holding similar intentions. Together we will strike a new cord and raise the vibration of our ancient giver of life.
Rain or shine. Event time is Sept 18, 10am-12pm at Sillmans Cove on back side of Goodyear lake. We will gather briefly there on land and paddle to the center of the lake for the ceremony. Anyone wishing to rent a kayak from Portlandville’s kayak shop can do so at 8:30am, and then paddle back up river after.
Advance registration is required, cut off for registration is Sept 12th. This is a free event.
