Federal Contracting 101

Learn the ins and out of Federal Contracting. This course is designed for those businesses that are new to doing business in the Federal Sector - startup to large businesses. It will also explain the "Art of the Process"- as well as focus on the diverse aspects of Federal Contracting. Federal Contracting 101 will give entrepreneurs a very good look into the numerous best practices that are used nationwide.

• Finding opportunities and bids
• Certifications: Local, State and Federal
• Filing out applications (HUB Texas, NMSDC, NCTRCA)

Tim Jacquet is a certified SCORE mentor and volunteer. He has been working with business development for 35 years. He has expertise in non-profit organizations, start-ups, small business financing and government contracting. He is the Chief Operation Officer for Apple Capital Group, Inc., and the host of The Core Business Show.  

Cancellation Policy: 

If you need to cancel you must notify us via email 7 days prior to the workshop date. A confirmation of your cancellation will be sent once it is received. Calling the SCORE Fort Worth office is not acceptable for a cancellation notice. All no-shows or cancellations after 7 days will lose their paid workshop fees. 

All workshop fees must be paid in advance prior to workshop date. For security purposes we will not be able to accept payment for workshops at the door unless workshop is being held at James E. Guinn complex in Fort Worth, TX.  

CANCELLATION NOTICES MUST BE IN WRITING AND EMAILED TO: Jenny Day at ch.admin0120@scorevolunteer.org. Any other means of cancellation will not be accepted.
