Make a Difference for only $1 per day!

We are excited for our annual 365 Breakfast on Thursday, January 13th!  This event is one of our most vital fundraisers of the year and all donations go directly to programs that impact Peoria Public Schools students, staff, and families.  With a donation of any amount, you receive a delicious breakfast from Hy-Vee in Sheridan Village (drive-through style with a curbside pick up on the day of the event) and access to the virtual event program that will be live streamed on our Facebook page after the breakfast pickup at 9:30 am.  PPS Alum and Chief Financial Officer for AutoZone, Jamere Jackson, will be our speaker.  We are so excited to have him joining us this year.  RSVP and donate today!

Meet this year's speaker - Jamere Jackson!

Jamere Jackson, a graduate of Peoria Public Schools, is the Chief Financial Officer for AutoZone, a multi-billion dollar retailer and distributor of automotive replacement parts and accessories. Jamere joined AutoZone in September 2020 and became the first African-American CFO in the company’s 41 year history. Jamere also serves on the Board of Directors of pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly and Company where he is the Chair of the Audit Committee, and the Board of Directors of Hibbett Sports, a leading athletic-inspired fashion retailer.

Jamere received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1990, where he was also a two-year co-captain of the Men’s Basketball team and earned Dean’s List honors for academic achievement. He is a certified public accountant, has served on corporate advisory boards at the University of Notre Dame and Albany State University, and on non-profit boards at Future 5 in Stamford, CT and Peoria's Tri-County Urban League. Jamere was also named by Savoy Magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America and by the Financial Times as one of the top 100 ethnic-minority executives in business.
