Greg Browder has served as a Librarian in Dallas Public Library’s Business, Science, and Technology Division for 20 years. He holds a Master’s Degree of Library Science from Texas Woman’s University, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Texas A&M University in Wildlife-Fisheries Sciences. Prior to earning his Master’s degree, he worked as a computer programmer/analyst for 15 years in company staff and consulting positions in a variety of industries. During his tenure at the library, he has served as Oil and Gas Specialist for the Nancy and Jake L. Hamon Oil and Gas Resource Center, and also served as Representative for the Library’s Patent and Trademark Resource Center (PTRC) for three years. As one of the Business, Science, and Technology Division’s staff librarians, he has worked with a broad range of customers and community partners, assisting with information needs related to financial literacy, investing, small business start-up, job-seeking, company and industry research, science and other subjects covered in the Division’s collections.

SCORE Dallas has designed this one hour Workshop to introduce you to the basic process of how to start writing a Business Plan. A good busiess plan guides you through each stage of starting and managing your business. Business plans can help you get funding or bring on new business partners.
