All-Day, In-Person Workshop

If you have the entrepreneurial dream of starting a business or are already in one and want to improve your chance of success, this is the workshop for you.

This one-day, eight-hour workshop will help give you the information you need to start and run a new business or to improve an existing business.

The workshop is sponsored and run by the Buffalo Niagara Chapter of SCORE, the volunteer arm of the Small Business Administration (SBA) that is totally dedicated to helping small businesses like yours across the USA.

The eight-hour, all-day session includes these topics:

• SBA and other small business resources
• Fundamentals of business financials
• Foundations of marketing and sales
• Business insurance basics
• Tax compliance
• Legal organization of your business
• Funding your small business
• Q&A with small business experts

The cost is nominal and our US Veterans are charged half price. Early registrants also receive a discount.  Register now to reserve your seat!  If one of these discount codes apply to you, they are to be entered on the registration form: 

• FEE: $40.00

NOTE: Daemen College will require residents to complete the Daemen visitor form in advance of arriving on Campus.  On arrival, workshop attendees will be required to get their temperature checked at the door and answer health screening questions. COVID-19 protocols (wearing masks and physical distancing) will be observed during the workshop.
