 In this workshop, an experienced SCORE mentor will help you understand the essentials of financial management, including keeping financial records, understanding financial statements, key considerations for setting prices, and typical business cost and expenses. You'll receive a simple tool to help you plan for them and estimate the sales volume you'll need to reach your breakeven point and then realize a profit.

Presenter Dick VerEecke is a Merrimack Valley Certified SCORE mentor. He brings the experience of 30 years in corporate finance with IBM and was a Certified Financial Planner after retirement from IBM. He has also been a Volunteer Certified Tax Preparer for low and middle income taxpayers in AARP and VITA free tax assistance program. For the past 6 years he has been providing general business advice as a SCORE mentor, and has helped numerous small business owners start and grow their businesses.
