Features a Gennaker - A hybrid sail between the genoa and the asymmetrical spinnaker.

South Coast Sailing will be competing in the PHRF spinnaker class for the 2023 Rum Race Series! 

*This catamaran won first in its class last year in the 2022 Rum Race Series!

The Rum Races are held on upper Galveston Bay, with a total course length of 11 nautical miles. The series is open to all sailors and is intended for fun, informal racing. This is a great opportunity to gain experience and add to your sailing logbook!

2:15 pm  Arrive at SCSA 

       3:30 pm  Depart the dock

     4:30-5:30 pm Race start time depending on the boats PHRF

After race, return to dock, clean and secure boat.

7:00 pm Approximate return time
