Urban Farm-to-Table with Special Guest
Kick off NYCxDesign Week and ICFF with the NKBA Manhattan Chapter at a special Chapter Meeting hosted by Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove. Join us at the A&D Building for a delicious and informative evening exploring the newest concepts in Farm-to-Table Dining and food preparation.
Sub-Zero’s own Corporate Chef Phil will talk about advances in urban farming as he prepares locally sourced bites on Wolf appliances alongside local wines.
Special guest speaker and cookbook author Leeann Lavin, an expert on the radical NYC food and drink world, will prepare a signature cocktail and share her own farm-to-table secrets during a Q&A presentation. She is the author of the successful, groundbreaking foodoir: The Hamptons & Long Island Homegrown Cookbook and The Art of the Garnish, the successful cocktail how-to book that is brimming with a dizzying array of garnishes from herbs to nuts, candy, & glamorous jewelry. Leeann also creates signature cocktails for clients’ special occasions, including weddings, birthdays, & happy milestones.
We’ll raffle off Sub-Zero swag bags, including Leeann’s book, The Hamptons and Long Island Homegrown Cookbook: Local Food, Local Restaurants, Local Recipes. Leeann Lavin will be doing a book signing for anyone interested in her books.
