City of Fairfield National Night Out 2023

Join us on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 as we celebrate National Night Out in the City of Fairfield.  This year we are excited to be celebrating 40 years of nights out against crime!   The safety of our communities depend on  partnerships developed with law enforcement and the neighborhoods they serve.   On National Night Out,  neighborhoods host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and various other community events.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.   National Night Out is designed to strengthen neighborhood spirit and heighten crime prevention awareness to generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime efforts. I.e. Neighborhood Watch.

Send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
The best way to build a safer community is to know your neighbors and your surroundings. Host a NNO party and share more than great recipes; discuss safety tips, future neighborhood watch plans, and more!

Neighborhoods will be hosting a variety of events ranging from small potlucks and BBQ’s to large block parties. Some additional event ideas include, but are not limited to, ice cream socials, disaster preparedness, games, contests, discussing neighborhood issues, or planning to start a Neighborhood Watch Group. It’s up to YOU — be creative, have fun and CELEBRATE YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD!
Need customizable flyers for your event? Send them as evites or print flyers for your NNO party! Or create your own in Canva!
