Kids Cooking Green for families with kids 2.9-7 years old

Class will be held at the kitchen at Community Nursery School, 2325 Mass Ave in Lexington.Classes are designed for a mixed age group of kids age 2.9 years-5 with an adult. It is mandatory that a parent or adult (over 18 years) participates in the class with the children. 

We are delighted to include older siblings, up to age 7, for an additional charge. Siblings under age 2 years 9 months are welcome free of charge. Parents are responsible for overseeing all of their children.  

Friday July 21   11:00-1:00      Breakfast for Lunch       Let’s shake things up today by having breakfast for lunch.  We will talk about farm animals,and where eggs come from.  Each child will chose a colorful veggie to add to their eggs, and then get crackin’ to mix and cook what we call  “eggs In a basket”  We will buzz up Fresh fruit smoothies with seasonal berries  and yogurt.  

 We reserve the right to make a substitition to the menu, giving us the opportunity to take advantage of local products when available!
