Ahhh, summer.
As the final film of the CT-VA Spring Semester we will watch “Concussion”. Based on the findings of Dr. Bennet Omalu, “Concussion” explores what the NFL knew, when they knew it, and what they did about the toll that head injury takes on the players. The film, and indeed, the events behind it, are not without significant controversy. Is the controversy based on racism, sexism, or something else? Will Smith gives an outstanding performance once again.
