NYS Conference of Environmental Health Directors 

The annual Fall meeting of the NYS Conference of Environmental Health Directors is scheduled to be held at the Minnowbrook Conference Center in Blue Mountain Lake, New York. The format includes a full day technical session on current environmental health issues and regulatory updates & a half day business meeting providing member committee reports. This meeting does not have a zoom option.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

LODGING AT MINNOWBROOK

Do not contact Minnowbrook directly for room reservations. 

Those staying overnight at Minnowbrook must register with the CEHD no later than September 26, 2023. The CEHD must provide a final “Rooming List” to Minnowbrook by this date.

Overnight accommodations are limited to 59 guests which includes shared rooms. Only a limited number of single rooms are available and are not guaranteed.  Members that have special needs affecting lodging assignments should specify on the registration form or contact Starr O’Neil directly by email SONeil@monroecounty.gov or phone (585) 753-5209.

CEHD Meeting Package Rate is $157 per night, and includes: Overnight lodging, meals, all breaks and evening snacks. 2023 State per diem rate for Hamilton County is $98/night for lodging and Minnowbrook charges $59 for meals. Payments for accommodations with meal package shall be made to Minnowbrook Conference Center. A tax exempt form, ST-219, must be provided with payment to waive tax on room. Cash, check, credit card or vouchers are accepted.

ALTERNATE LODGING OPTIONS

Additional lodging is available throughout the Adirondacks. A list of some nearby facilities is below. If staying offsite, you must make your own reservations. CEHD will not assist in making these accommodations.

Commuters who attend the conference may purchase meals at Minnowbrook by payment to the CEHD at time of check-in or mailed in advance (see additional information below).

  • Attending conference and 1 meal $35*
  • Attending conference and 2 meals $55*
  • Attending conference and 3 meals $75*

*Includes coffee breaks, snacks, etc.

 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Meeting registration fee of $10 shall be collected from all attendees. Yearly dues of $20 are required to be paid. Cash and checks made payable to NYSCEHD are accepted.

Payments for commuter meals and dues may be made at check-in prior to Technical Session, or mailed in advance to the attention of CEHD Treasurer Aaron Lazzara, c/o Madison County Health Department, PO Box 605, Wampsville, NY 13163.
